2006, Video DVD, 6' 27''
This work can be seen as a linguistic video experiment. The main characters of this video are students from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. They were filmed during a lecture with their professor Peter Weibel. The camera was positioned at the speaker's desk filming the audience for the whole lecture (one hour). In the digital post production of the video all sequences when Professor Weibel said "Ja" (german for "yes") were cut out and rearranged in chronological order. The resulat is a 6 minutes staccato looking/sounding video, showing a crowd of students exactly when they hear the word "Ja".
